What is CEEP?

The Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP) is a Commonwealth Government grant program for energy efficiency upgrades and retrofit projects.  Local councils and community groups can access up to $5million in matched (1:1) funding.

Which projects are eligible?

Any energy efficiency upgrade to existing council buildings is eligible.  Key measures include upgrades to heating, cooling, lighting, insulation, control systems and energy monitoring. We would recommend that metropolitan councils focus on 3-5 sites with the greatest energy costs.  Rural and regional councils should focus on 1 to 3 sites.

How can CarbonetiX help me secure CEEP funding?

How does an Energy Savings Guarantee work?

All our energy audits include a fully costed Energy Upgrade and Retrofit project proposal with an energy savings guarantee.  This means that you are assured a minimum level of gas and electricity savings upfront.  Our guarantees are transparant and direct i.e. Project XYZ will save council a guaranteed 20% on electricity and gas bills.
